Project Tokri 2.0

Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Project Tokri 2.0: A Journey of Transcendence — From Helping Hands to Skilled Creators An inspiring leap from silent service to empowered innovation.

The Innovation Team of Blue Bells Model School has been instrumental in mentoring students and upskilling the support staff through the school’s latest initiative, Tokri Part-2. Following the success of Tokri Part-1, the project has evolved into a meaningful example of micro-enterprising and sustainable solutions—featuring the creation of chemical-free soap bars made from aloe vera, saffron, virgin coconut oil, and medicinal herbs, crafted with care, tradition, and purpose.

What makes Tokri 2.0 extraordinary is its soul—our support staff. Once quiet contributors behind the scenes, they are now proud co-creators of sustainable products. This metamorphosis reflects not just skill development, but dignity restored through inclusion and innovation.

Witness the inspiring journey of transformation—Project Tokri 2.0, the shift from service to skill.

Project Tokri Chronicles: The Sustainable Hues

The School Innovation Team is thrilled to share a glimpse of their journey with 'Project Tokri'.

Their sustainable initiative aimed at upcycling flower waste. From the inception of this idea to its realization, the team has poured heart and soul into every step of the process.

Envision the rhythmic whirring of mixies, the delicate sieving of flower crumbles, and the sweet fragrance lingering in the air their 'Rasois' transformed into 'Rang~a~soi' over the past few weeks and created magical evenings filled with creativity and joy. After countless trials, colour checks, and redesigns, they were overjoyed to announce that their organic, vegan, and chemical-free Holi colours were ready for use!

Ms Alka Singh, Principal congratulated the entire team and asked everyone to join them in celebrating this milestone as they spread love, happiness, and vibrant colours this Holi season. Huge thanks to the dedicated School Innovation Team who juggled through busy schedules to make this dream a reality.

Stay tuned as the School Innovation Team eagerly prepares to unveil another vibrant vegan creation!

Our Story

Project Tokri 1.0

Blooms that bring smiles today and purpose tomorrow.

The School Innovation Team is dedicated to pioneering environmental solutions that not only reduce waste but also create meaningful, eco-friendly alternatives and one such venture is ‘Project Tokri’.

In our process, we started by collecting a variety of flowers, then carefully removed the petals from the stalks. These petals were segregated and dried in the shade to preserve their natural properties. Next, we sieved them to create high-quality materials for skincare products. Meanwhile, the stalks and withered petals were ingeniously repurposed to make fragrant dhoop cones, showcasing our commitment to zero waste.

We salute the efforts of our “Sahyogis” who have joined hands with us in this impactful initiative, demonstrating that small actions can lead to significant changes for a greener, more sustainable future.

Join us on an innovative journey of sustainability and resourcefulness as we explore the transformation of flower waste into valuable products!
